I'm Andrew Krug de Medina and I do a whole lot of work to make it look like I do nothing.
In other words, I automate everything that I can.
I have been in test automation from the get go out of college.
Shortly after I started working in test automation I discussed with my dad about all the different things that are capable automated and how I am a very clever lazy lad. We agreed that I would rather do almost anything else besides actually performing all the work.
This was also not the first time that this conversation came up as that was my entire process of getting through college.
This conversation revolved around how I was using my intellect to take every last shortcut to get my work done as fast as possible.
What better way to get back to playing games.
But as I described all the shortcuts and I called it "me being lazy." He paused and turned to me and said that I was incorrect, the word I should be using is "efficient" and that would be a better title for this site, except lazy is shorter.
"Don't use a big word where a diminutive one will suffice."
"Don't do more work when less will suffice."
So this site is going to bring the lazy shortcuts to everyone and maybe everyone will one day will be as lazy as me, it is okay that is a good thing to strive for.
